Tasting notes

Fresh pear, pip fruit, honey suckle, crystallized lemon zest and ginger. Off-dry in style, this Pinot Gris has a lovely sweetness on the palate balanced by a fresh acidity which makes it a great accompaniment to a variety of dishes.

Winemaking

Winemaker: Dean Shaw
Fermentation: Fruit was gently pressed to stainless steel tanks. Indigenous yeast fermentation occurred over 2 months. Wine remained on yeast lees for 3 months for texture and complexity.

Grape variety: A selection of various Pinot Gris clones
Sub region: Central Otago
Harvest Date: 15th April 2023
